Bill 106: Worried About Losing Your Family Doctor?

  • May 26, 2025

Over the past few weeks, many clinics, doctors, and healthcare professionals have expressed concerns about Bill 106, currently under review by the Quebec government.

This reform aims to change how frontline healthcare is organized, notably by introducing a system that categorizes patients according to their health status (using a color code), and by adjusting the length of consultations accordingly. Many fear this could affect the doctor-patient relationship, access to care, and the quality of medical follow-up—especially in a context already marked by a shortage of family doctors.

The posters above, created by various medical associations, aim to raise public awareness about the proposed changes and to encourage collective reflection on the future of our healthcare system.

As a clinic, we believe in the importance of staying informed and participating in discussions that shape our healthcare system. We invite you to read these materials and form your own opinion.
